We're not in Tanjong Pagar anymore or are we
Located at the heart of Singapore’s business centre and bustling with hordes of serious working professionals in the day, you’ll be forgiven for thinking that Tanjong Pagar is all work and no play.
Look a little closer though, and you’ll see that one of Singapore’s most historic districts has both a vibrant nightlife scene and lots of good vibes to offer in the day.

Car Free Sunday
Ever felt like there are too many cars in Singapore? Or sat in traffic and whined about the congestion?
Car-Free Sunday is here for you to experience the heart of the city in a different light. With road closures expanding into various zones of the CBD, including Cecil Street and Robinson Road in Tanjong Pagar, participants get to walk, jog or cycle on - wait for it - car-free streets!
Held every last Sunday of the month, there are also other activities to choose from if walking the roads like a boss doesn’t get you going. For this month’s event, which will run from 8am to 9.30pm, you can look forward to sports like basketball, soccer and even quirky games like life-size ping pong and Nerf shootouts.
After you’ve had your fill of excitement, slow down by taking in the farmer’s market or enjoying an evening movie screening of Despicable Me 2.
As locals love to ask: “You think this is your grandfather’s road?” Now you can reply with a resounding “Yes”.

Immerse yourself in a beautiful 270-degree panorama, learn about planning trade-offs in a dynamic multiplayer game, or even become an urban designer for a day and create your own memorable city skyline. Whatever you choose to do, these activities will give you a deeper insight into the development of Singapore.
Renowned in the French DJ circuit since the early 90s, Jeck Hyde is a force to be reckoned with in the underground music scene. Inspired by Detroit techno, Chicago House and Acid House from the UK, his sound is warm and evocative, with hypnotic deep tones that gets his audience grooving.
While based in Singapore, he has also delivered a slew of top DJ sets across the region and performed alongside many of the best DJs in electro music such as Laurent Garnier, Vitalic and Housemeister.
'Love Road Live' is his latest project released under his new alias Traffic Beats. The event is hosted at Kilo Lounge, an indie club tucked away in a quiet Tanjong Pagar back alley.
